What is Meow Monday?
Cat Owners, we know you think your cats are pretty special (we do too!), so we think they deserve their own special day at the clinic. That’s why we designated Monday, May 12 as MEOW MONDAY!
Meow Monday is…
- Monday, May 12
- A morning of TEN (10!) in-person, cat-only appointments between 8:15 AM and 11:45 AM
- Set aside specifically for cats – we will not have any dogs in the clinic that morning
- A great day to visit if your cat is anxious leaving the house or visiting us a the clinic
Why should my cat visit on Meow Monday?
We know how stressful a visit to the vet can be for cats… and their owners. Our goal on May 12 is to make your cat’s visit as Fear Free as possible.
What you can expect on Meow Monday…
- Our clinic will be QUIET – Without canine friends in the clinic there won’t be barking or other noisy distractions
- No waiting – We’ve strategically staggered our appointment times so when you arrive on time for your appointment, we can get you right into an exam room with little to no interaction of other clients or feline patients
- Special treat for special patients – Your feline friend won’t leave the clinic empty-pawed. We have a special Purr Pop for your cat to enjoy when they get home!
Is there anything you can prescribe to help with anxiety?
For you? No, that’s illegal. For your cat? Yes, of course.
